WHAT WE DID
Summit Construction performed asbestos abatement in steam tunnels located in the basement of the Mary Switzer building located in Washington, D.C. There were over 3,000 linear feet of friable asbestos pipe insulation abated and 12,000 sq. feet of contaminated surface area fine cleaned in the scope of work. Summit Construction also performed HVAC and duct cleaning by way of confined space entry in 1000 linear feet of ductwork located in the basement of the building. The project required careful coordination with the GSA Project Manager, the GSA Safety / Environmental Department on a daily basis.
