Summit Construction undertook a challenging and critical project at the Washington Navy Yard, showcasing our expertise and commitment to safety in demanding environments. Our team successfully executed the demolition of approximately 10,000 linear feet of asbestos-covered steam pipe within the intricate network of steam tunnels beneath the Navy Yard. This project was not only complex but also exceptionally hazardous, requiring meticulous planning and unwavering dedication to safety.
